At 40, she was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer and a BRCA mutation requiring chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, and a full hysterectomy. From these difficult diagnoses, she harvested the gift of knowing the power of her people, the ability to find gratitude for the smallest things, and the courage to share her story for the betterment of others.
The military life demands long deployments placing loved-ones in harm's way, frequent moves, and raising children far away from home. From this complicated and often lonely lifestyle, Corby harvested friends that are family, the ability to adapt to any situation, and the adventurous spirit that now defines her life.
As an elementary school principal, Corby led her staff through a school fire, the extreme understaffing that came from "The Great Resignation," and 2 years of the Covid pandemic, including a complete shift to on-line learning and adjusting to restrictive health protocols. As an elementary school principal, Corby led her staff through a school fire, the extreme understaffing that came from "The Great Resignation," and 2 years of the Covid pandemic, including a complete shift to on-line learning and adjusting to restrictive health protocols. From these struggles, she harvested the confidence to be a more vulnerable leader, elevated perspective that serves her and her school community, and the knowledge of how to leverage adversity to form stronger, more connected relationships.
Educational leaders, teachers, and staff have more impact than almost any other field. Recently, they've been bogged down by Covid protocols, divisive politics, and extreme understaffing. Let Corby share her experience to help your teams find their fire, shift their focus to kids and each other, and remember why they fell in love with education in the first place. Support your educators in learning to "Harvest the Good."
Patients and healthcare workers alike need reminders of the hope and the good that surrounds them. Allow Corby to share her story of despair turning into a mission as we look for the hope in treatment, the power of medical teams, and the impact of superheroes in the field. Walk away refreshed, reminded, and reinvested in the promise that exists in medicine. Help patients with diagnoses and the heroes who treat them "Harvest the Good."
Now more than ever, leaders in America are charged with inspiring and motivating their people through incredibly burdensome and problematic scenarios that often feel like they don't have an end in sight. Let Corby share the experiences she's encountered through her leadership in education and her family's military careers to help you galvanize your people back to purpose and action. Lead your teams to "Harvest the Good."
Corporate America is known for being cut-throat and competitive, resulting in burned-out, often-fatigued individuals. Allow Corby to share with your teams and remind them how to find joy in their personal and professional environment, how to notice and use the positives to their benefit, and how to revive themselves toward their purpose and goals. Together, aid your corporate teams to "Harvest the Good."
Corby's ability to share her story in an open and honest way is inspiring and refreshing. Her willingness to be vulnerable with her emotions and fears allows her audience to understand how she was able to navigate challenges and become a stronger person through the adversity she faced.

Authentic. Inspiring. Fierce. Selfless. Genuine. These are just a few of the words that come to mind when I think of Corby Naylor. I had the pleasure of working with and getting to know Corby during the production of a national TV commercial for Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Immediately, I was drawn in as she shared her incredible cancer story. Her diagnosis was a defining moment in her life, and in that moment, she made the conscious decision to face cancer head-on and take the offense; she did not let her cancer diagnosis define who she was as a person. And as a result of this brave decision, she has touched countless lives in more ways than she could have ever imagined. During her treatment, she became a real-life cancer warrior; she fought for herself, her family, and her friends as they all rallied around her. And then, after hearing the amazing news from her doctor that she was cancer free and there was no evidence of disease, her cancer journey has now become a platform and guiding light to help, encourage, and inspire hope in others who feel alone in their fight or are just embarking on their cancer journey. Corby is a truly remarkable person; her ability to genuinely connect with others, share her story, and speak from her heart in order to help others not feel so alone in their cancer journey is nothing short of inspirational.
